Executive Staff Positions

Description: Executive Staffers work closely with Cabinet directors and members of Executive Board to fulfill their respective agendas. Executive Staff members should be undergraduate students at Boston University in good standing with the university. Apply to join the student government Executive Staff with roles currently available in the following departments:

Student Election Commission (SEC)

Description: The Student Elections Commission (SEC) oversees and runs the Elections for the Executive Board and At-Large Senate for BU Student Government. SEC Commissioners must serve a term from Fall 2019 through Spring 2020. Commissioners are in charge of policy and regulation, which involves reviewing election rules, addressing complaints, keeping track of campaign spending, etc. They are also in charge of promoting elections to the student body, as well as planning any events to spread information about candidates, slates, and parties.

Time commitment: Low-Medium. Duties will be split among all Student Elections Commissioners
