The student election commission oversees the school-wide E-Board election for the student government. As an impartial authority they work to make the rules for running slates as fair as possible, give every slate a platform to reach the student body, and work with the judicial commissioners to make sure all rules are constitution-abiding
2019/2020 Student Election Commission Application Open Now!
The Student Elections Commission (SEC) oversees and runs the Elections for the Executive Board and At-Large Senate for BU Student Government. SEC Commissioners must serve a term from Fall 2019 through Spring 2020. Commissioners are in charge of policy and regulation, which involves reviewing election rules, addressing complaints, keeping track of campaign spending, etc. They are also in charge of promoting elections to the student body, as well as planning any events to spread information about candidates, slates, and parties.
This form is the official application to become part of the SEC for the 2019-2020 academic year. A confirmation email will be sent once the application has been received, outlining next steps and any relevant information.
