WHAT IS TEN.10.X
RESOURCES
On April 4th, the anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s death, BU Student Government has a goal: at 10 stations across campus for 10 minutes straight, we want the student body to come together and impact the lives of at least 10,000 people. Ten.10.X is an event that asks the BU community to be civically engaged- to stand united against sexual assault and the proposed changes to Title IX by the Department of Education. In tandem with Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we hope to encourage students to stand up in support of survivors of sexual assault to work toward preventing sexual assault on all college campuses.
We ask that students contribute messages of support prior to the event and during Ten.10.X, either in person or online through our BU Student Government website. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for Boston University to show the world that we stand together with survivors of sexual assault and that we demand change. A change that believes survivors who come forward with their stories, that protects them, and that provides them with the justice they deserve.
